ROOT TO FRUIT SINCE 2000 About Jobson Garden

OUR STORY

Jobson Garden began in 2000 as a few nursery beds and a simple belief: a fruit tree should earn its place in a Kerala garden. Today we supply growers across Kerala — and since 2021 we have turned idle land into working orchards too.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

  • We grow what we sell.

Our own production units, our own budding and grafting. No bought-in stock of unknown parentage.

  • The guidance doesn’t stop at the sale.

Call us about a plant you bought five years ago and we’ll help. No charge, no time limit.

  • Since 2000, in the same place.

Started in 2000 in Chalakudy, and still on the same land. Plantation work since 2021.

  • We carry the risk on plantations.

Free plantation means our money and our labour go in first. If a crop fails, the loss is ours.

PLAN A VISIT

Come and walk the nursery beds. You can stand in front of the mother tree a plant was cut from before you decide to buy it — which is the part no photograph settles.

A plant leaves here only once we know which tree it came from and how it will behave in your soil.

OUR PROCESS

  1. 1 · Mother Tree Selection: No random seeds. Every bud and graft is cut by hand from proven, high-yielding mother trees in our own Chalakudy orchard.
  2. 2 · Potting & Hardening: Each sapling grows in an organic potting mix, then spends time outdoors so it can take heavy monsoon rain and summer heat before it reaches you.
  3. 3 · Checked Before It Leaves: Each sapling is labelled with the variety it was cut from, and the graft union, root ball and leaf are inspected on the day it goes out.
Lush green orchard scenery
“Every great orchard begins with healthy roots and honest soil. Get those two right and the tree does the rest of the work, for the next fifty years, without being asked.”
